including a stop in the town of Lihue.
The main event was a last minute decision to take a helicopter ride around Kauai. Fortunately we found a tour company that still had room on one of the rides. Gorgeous from the air.
There were lots of waterfalls all over the island.
And we could see the island of Niihau in the distance. This island is privately owned and generally closed to visitors.
